You don’t need a mimosa to have a great brunch. At Waking Daisy, our zero alcohol menu includes the Citrus Bloom Spritz, Strawberry Coast and our house Mocktail ($7 each), plus Lavender Lemonade, Hot Mulled Cider, fresh squeezed juices and a full coffee and tea bar. Seasonal alcohol free options rotate too, so ask your server what’s new.
Brunch and bubbly have gone together for decades. But more people now sit down to brunch without wanting alcohol, whether they’re driving, training, pregnant, doing Sober October, or simply don’t feel like it at 10 a.m. That shouldn’t mean settling for a plain soda while everyone else gets something fun.
This guide covers why alcohol free brunch is growing so fast, every zero proof drink on our menu, what to pair with each one, and a few tips for ordering when your table is a mix of drinkers and non drinkers.
This isn’t a passing fad. The numbers show a real shift in how people drink.
Fewer Americans drink than ever recorded. Gallup found that just 54% of U.S. adults said they drink alcohol in 2025, the lowest since it began asking in 1939.
Younger adults are leading the change. Among adults 18 to 34, only 50% say they drink, and 66% say even moderate drinking is bad for your health.
Restaurants are responding fast. A 2026 report from restaurant platform SpotOn found independent restaurants added 47% more non alcoholic drinks to their menus year over year. Operators also reported more tables where drinkers and non drinkers sit together.
Growth is expected to continue. The same report cites an IWSR forecast that non alcohol options will grow 36% between 2024 and 2029.
People are more health aware, more interested in “sober curious” living, and more likely to want a drink that feels special without the alcohol. A good mocktail gives you the ritual of a brunch cocktail, the pretty glass and the toast, without the mid afternoon slump.

Fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh squeezed lemonade, both $4.50. If you love a mimosa, fresh OJ in a nice glass gives you the same bright citrus start.
Alcohol free doesn’t have to mean a mocktail. Our coffee and tea menu is a full brunch drink list on its own:
Coffee: drip, iced coffee, espresso, cappuccino and latte
Something special: Cereal Milk Latte ($7), Dirty Chai ($7), Matcha Latte ($7, add vanilla or blueberry for +$1)
Tea: Masala Chai, London Fog, and Rishi hot or iced tea
Oat milk is available on any coffee for +$1
The Espresso Martini is a brunch favorite on our cocktail list. If you want that same coffee kick without the alcohol, a Cereal Milk Latte or an iced coffee makes a great stand in.
A good drink makes a dish better. Here’s how we’d match our alcohol free drinks with the food on our menu.
If you’re ordering | Try it with | Why it works |
Daisy Cakes or Caramel Apple Daisy Cake | Black drip coffee or Rishi hot tea | Cuts through the sweetness |
Classic or Norwegian Benedict | Citrus Bloom Spritz or fresh squeezed OJ | Bright citrus balances rich hollandaise |
Biscuits & Gravy or Chicken Fried Chicken | Fresh squeezed lemonade | Tart and refreshing against a hearty plate |
Korean Breakfast Bowl | Lavender Lemonade or Rishi iced tea | Cools down the gochugaru heat |
Chorizo Hash or Early Bird Burrito | Strawberry Coast | Fruity sweetness against spice |
Croissant Beignets | Cereal Milk Latte or Hot Chocolate | Dessert meets dessert, in the best way |
Wagyu Steak & Eggs | Iced coffee or Dirty Chai | A bold drink for a bold plate |
Harvest Grain Avo Toast or salads | Matcha Latte | Light and fresh, with a gentle lift |
Anything on a cold morning | Hot Mulled Cider | Pure fall comfort |
If you’re taking a month off alcohol, brunch is one of the easiest meals to keep fun. The social side, the good food and a pretty drink are all still there. It’s a great way to keep plans with friends without feeling like you’re missing out.
You don’t have to choose a spot based on who’s drinking. At most brunch tables today, someone has a mimosa flight and someone has a spritz. Everyone gets a drink that feels like a treat, and nobody has to explain their choice.
If you do want a cocktail, alternating with a zero proof drink is an easy way to enjoy a long brunch and still feel good for the rest of your day. A Lavender Lemonade between mimosas goes a long way.
The Corners of Brookfield is a drive for most of our guests. If you’re the one driving home, order a spritz or a specialty latte instead of settling for water.
Our alcohol free menu covers you. Pregnant guests, people with an early workout or a busy afternoon, and anyone who just doesn’t feel like drinking can still order a fun drink. If you have a dietary need or allergy, let your server know.
Alcohol free doesn’t always mean low sugar. Fruit forward mocktails, lemonades and hot chocolate can be sweet. If you’re watching sugar, try unsweetened iced tea, black coffee or a latte instead.
If you’re hosting a baby shower, birthday or team brunch, let us know when you book how many guests will want alcohol free drinks. Our events and catering team can help plan drinks for everyone.
