One child wants pancakes. Another has already decided its lunchtime. You would quite like to sit down and enjoy something you didn’t have to cook.
That sounds like a good reason to go out for brunch.
Our kids’ menu at Waking Daisy, brings breakfast and lunch choices to the same table, from pancakes and eggs to grilled cheese and chicken tenders. Kids’ meals are $9.50 each and include a kids’ drink, giving you a clear starting point when planning your family’s order.
Here’s what to know before joining us for brunch with kids in Brookfield, WI.
Start with the question that matters most to your child: breakfast or lunch?
Our children’s menu offers both, so everyone can choose something that sounds good to them.
Kids’ meal | What comes with it |
Pancake | Berries, whipped cream, powdered sugar, and a choice of bacon, sausage, or avocado |
French toast | Berries, powdered sugar, and a choice of bacon, sausage, or avocado |
Breakfast combo | An egg, toast, and a choice of protein or avocado |
Yogurt parfait | Greek yogurt with fruit, granola, and honey |
Grilled cheese | Sourdough with white American cheese and a side |
Cheeseburger | White American cheese and a side |
Chicken tenders | A choice of side |
Sides include fruit, fries, vegetables, and sliced avocado. Drink choices include milk, chocolate milk, apple juice, and soda; fresh-squeezed orange juice costs $1 extra. Check our kids’ menu for current selections and pricing.
Try narrowing the decision to two choices before you arrive: “Would you like eggs or French toast?” is a manageable place to start.
If toppings, textures, or sauces affect what your child will eat, ask about them before ordering. Explain the specific request, such as keeping ingredients separate, and let our team confirm what the kitchen can accommodate.
There’s no need to turn brunch into a challenge to try everything. Choose something familiar, settle in, and leave the adventurous ordering for another day if that suits your family.
Your order deserves some thought, too.
For a sweet breakfast, consider our Classic Daisy Cake or Berry Crumble French Toast. Prefer savory? Choose a Classic Benedict, Biscuits & Gravy, or a Classic Omelette with your selection of three ingredients.
For something with a little more heat, the Korean Breakfast Bowl combines kimchi rice, glazed pork belly, eggs, and pickled vegetables. Lunch choices include Nathan’s Pastrami Reuben, Daisy’s Original Burger, and the Mediterranean Harvest Bowl.
A useful approach is to choose your own meal before negotiating everyone else’s. Open the menu, find two dishes you would enjoy, and make your final decision once the children have chosen.

A little planning gives you fewer things to work out at the table.
We accept reservations for parties of 2 to 14, with one important exception: Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., seating is first come, first served.
During that window, use the waitlist link on our homepage. For a party larger than 14, call us to discuss arrangements. A waitlist entry does not give you a reserved dining time.
Choose your visit around the schedule that works for your children. If you have a firm appointment afterward, leave room for parking, seating, ordering, and eating without rushing.
Let each child choose a meal before you head out, with a backup choice in mind. This gives you time to discuss ingredients without trying to read several menus at once.
For a younger child, you might simply describe the options aloud. For an older child, let them browse and choose their own meal.
Consider a coloring book, a few crayons, or a small activity that fits in your bag. Pick something easy to put away when the food arrives.
You could also make the wait part of the outing. Ask everyone what they’re looking forward to that weekend, or take turns choosing a question for the table. Keep it simple enough that nobody has to organize a whole activity.
If you need space for a stroller, particular seating, or a high chair, contact us before your visit to check availability. Include the children when giving your party size.
For a larger family gathering, our menu also notes that 20% gratuity is automatically added for parties of eight or more.
Please tell our team about food allergies before ordering. Our menu identifies vegetarian dishes and options that can be adjusted for certain dietary needs.
We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment, and we do not have a dedicated gluten-free fryer. Cross-contact is possible. Potatoes and fries are normally cooked in beef tallow; vegetable-based oil can be requested. Discuss the preparation with our team before choosing.
Be specific about what your child needs to avoid. Ask about the entire meal, including bread, toppings, sauces, sides, and preparation methods. A dish’s name alone may not answer those questions.
